"I just might," Marcus agrees with a soft laugh and a little shiver of pleasure at realizing Dan's got it right on the nose. Nearly since the very first day they'd met, he's been nursing a crush, one he thought utterly pointless until the evening of the Pride celebration, and he supposes he's still adjusting to the discovery that it hasn't been pointless at all. That Dan is here, Dan wants to be with him, too, that Dan finds him just as attractive.
He feels a little silly for having made tea at all, especially when they've gotten themselves immediately distracted, but at the soft kiss and the comment, Marcus is turning on the couch to better face Dan, his smile growing. Even now, he doesn't want to get ahead of himself. He only knows Dan's words have caused a heart pounding kind of happiness and the pink of his cheeks drives home what he's saying.
"I'll have to put that in a different book," he says, his hand curling over Dan's knee. "One just for me."
