"Yeah, first time with anyone," Dan says softly, "at least that I can remember. Maybe I was waiting," he adds, with a smile that hints he's only half teasing in response to the thoughts that scatter across his skin like loving sparks.

It's already better than good, and old habit would push him to think it's better than he deserves.

But they both deserve it, he thinks now, and then he gets to feel the different between dry and slick skin, and then the gentle nudge that has him gasping. He wants more, he wants to take more, and the plea comes tumbling from his lips as he spreads his thighs further apart.

"Better than good," he says, wonderingly. "I want-- I want more."
