It surprises Marcus a little, that she tries as hard as she does, not because he thinks Dutch isn't capable of it, but most people would laugh off his request, draw something silly. Dutch doesn't. It makes him smile and he steps a little closer to her, sliding his hand along the small of her back, around her waist, watching from his position behind her.

"Most people would probably tell me to piss off if I asked them to draw something from their childhood," he says in a low, pleased voice. "It's nice that you didn't."
