He's sussed out enough to know how important Neil is, and he's already decided the best way to go about that is to go along with his own desires: to be good to Marcus, to let this go where it wants to go, where they want to go.

He looks over at Marcus, still smiling. "And maybe I deserve it, when I think about how desperate I've been to touch you. A little easier knowing that I can now, but..."
