Turning a wheel.

This is the most control Marcus has had in weeks and for the first time in a long time, he can feel his heart thundering in his chest, each beat heavy with dread. They turn a wheel and he goes to the outside, but that means Dan rotates to the inside. He doesn't want to let Dan do this and he knows he could say no, but if they don't get the demon's name, he's not sure what Sam will be able to do for him.

Their worlds are different. Sam is capable and he's good at what he does, but this demon follows the rules of Marcus's world. He can feel it. They need its name to send it back to where it's come from.

"We move, not the demon," he murmurs. He's clinging to Dan, his fingers curling in the material of his shirt and snow kicks up in a swirl around them, helping to obscure them from view. There's snow and wind, but he doesn't feel cold and he doesn't know if there's something in this place helping to keep them hidden, but he'll take it for what it is. "You stay inside of me? With the demon."

He isn't sure what that quite means. Will he open his eyes and be looking out of Dan's body?
